Joh 11:43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.

This entire passage is an incredible account of God’s glory being made manifest. Lazarus had been dead for four days and was wrapped up in grave clothes. His sisters were crying out for help. Jesus the resurrection and the life was there to manifest God’s glory by performing an incredible miracle.
->Joh 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

As The Living Word of God spoke, Lazarus came forth. After this miracle, Jesus said in verse 44, “Loose him, and let him go.

In Genesis 1, God’s Word tells us that this world was without form and void. The earth was covered with darkness, but then the Spirit of God began to move on the face of the waters. God, through the spoken word, says, let there be light and there was light, and he divided the light from the darkness.

Just like Lazarus, I was dead in trespasses and sin. I was without form and void and darkness had encompassed me. Then one day, the Spirit of God began to move. Jesus called my name and brought me to life. He removed my grave clothes and gave me His righteousness.

What a blessing it is to have a personal relationship with our Creator! As a result of this salvation, we are loosed and let go from the bondage of sin. God has now divided the light from the darkness, and we are made new in Christ. May we, as born again Christians, live in the victory God has given us, as we walk in newness of life.

Consider: Knowing that Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life means that Jesus is alive, living right before us, in us, and all around us–Omnipresent.
