Work While You Can

Ec 9:10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
We still have some time and freedom left. But who knows how long? Our own life could soon be over, or the rapture could occur at any moment, or the whole world could be cast into sudden chaos. So, given the volatility of time and earthly life, it would be wise of us to keep trying to reach people with the precious Gospel.
Sadly, many saved people are living with no focus or care about their eternal future. Their current life is consumed with work, family, retirement, and recreation. While they profess to have been saved, they have done nothing with it.
The Bible lays out some privileged responsibilities for the child of God, yet many seem to be running in earthly circles, accomplishing nothing of eternal value. If we do not invest our life for the glory of God, we will, at the least, be greatly lacking in eternity.
Have you ever had the privilege of leading a soul to the Lord Jesus? How many gospel tracts have you given out to some needy souls? So many are fulfilling their weekly routine of attending church, but they are doing nothing to win their grandchildren to the Lord.
While we are alive, we are not to simply sit around and soak in the goodness of God. We are to do something for the glory of the Lord while we have breath.
Work for the Lord while there is still time! Go do something while you can. God still has a purpose for you being here. There is much to be done, and you are the one God is counting on to put your hand and heart to the work!
Consider – Everything we do should be to honor the LORD. We cannot divide our lives into categories, sections, or rooms where Christ is welcomed and included, and others where He is not:
