Consistency

Ps 40:16 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.

Unfortunately, consistency is not very common in our churches and among Christians today. The worldly emphasis on sports and popularity are continually pulling at the family. However, in Psalm 40, the Bible tells us that we are “to say continually, the Lord be magnified.” In the New Testament, the Apostle Paul writing tells us to be rejoicing and praying always.

  • 1Th 5:16-17 Rejoice evermore. 17 Pray without ceasing.

As God’s children, we need to be “...steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord” (1 Cor 15:58).

This world is moving further and further away from the foundation of Scripture, and it is time for the people of God to continually magnify the Lord, rejoice evermore, and pray without ceasing.

Our families and churches need consistent leaders who will stand on the truth of God’s Word without wavering. We need Christians are who are rejoicing over the wonderful things God has done for us. We need soldiers in God’s army to pray without ceasing, as we seek God’s mercy and blessings upon us. We need consistent Christians who will continually magnify the Lord.

Ps 45:17 I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.

Meditation – Seekers will find Him and no search will disappoint. It ends in heartfelt love for His salvation, and your lips will not be able to refrain.
