Jas 3:17-18 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Many today are wanting the easy way out. We have more conveniences than ever before. Our lives are so fast-paced that we often miss the important aspects of life and the purpose of our existence.

The Bible tells us in the book of James that the result of godly wisdom is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. The fruit of righteousness is sown in peace. This statement is a clear distinction between James 3 and Proverbs 13:15, Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard.

You do not have to look hard to find someone that lived a life in sin and to see the result of that sin on their life. The evidence of a hard-lived life from the fruit of sin is heartbreaking.

Jesus said in Matthew,  Mt 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

The way of transgressors is hard, but we have a Saviour Who has given us victory. Jesus Christ took the burden of sin to Calvary to pay our sin debt. For those of us that are saved, this gift should lead us to express our love and gratitude to our Saviour. For those that are lost, I pray that they will allow Jesus to take their load of sin, for His yoke is easy and His burden is light.

Consider: No flowers bloom on hard ground. Sinners have more pain and difficulty on the way to eternal damnation, than the cross-bearing righteous have on their way to eternal life.

Did You Know? Mosquito repellents don't repel... They hide you. The spray blocks the mosquito's sensors so they don't know you're there.
