2Co 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
This week Paula and I are parked at the Ocean State Baptist Church in Rhode Island. When people walk too close to our RV, our dog Muffin begins to run back and forth barking and growling. When asked by a Church member why she does this, I replied, “Wherever we are parked, Muffin considers it to be her territory.”
According to the Word of God, Satan is god of this age (2 Cor.4:4). Today’s world system is under his control; it is his territory.
As Christians we cannot isolate ourselves from sinful people, but we must not adopt their worldly standards. Sometimes we see how close we can get to Satan’s territory before we back off. That is a very dangerous practice and leads to the downfall of many Christians.
We must be determined to stay close to Christ and stay away from Satan’s territory.
Consider: Satan’s roar is intended to scare us into temptations snare. Don’t run—Resist.
Smiley: A man’s best friend is his dog. That’s assuming you want a friend who messes on your carpet and drools on your newspaper.
