Call Unto Me!

Jer 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

In a day when we have the greatest communication technology ever, we also seem to have the least. We can hardly reach a person, and many times it’s hard to understand them if we do.  I love to have a voice call from my family over texting.  Nothing is better than to hear their voice and be able to hear their expressions of love.

Sometimes, I do the same to God by a quick thought of prayer, and though He will hear all cries of prayer, I wonder if He might like to actually hear my voice aloud at times Himself! Some time ago I heard something humorously given similar to the following:

Heavenly Voicemail

    Thank you for calling Heaven.

I personally am so thankful that our eternal Father does not disregard our cry for help, nor upbraids us when we confess the same sin we have difficulty truly repenting of. He tells us to cast all our cares upon Him!
Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may                 obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.  Isa 59:1 Behold, the LORD'S         hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

Consider: His answer might not be in the time or the way we hoped, but we can rest assured it is heard, and an answer will be given!
