Go, Stand and Speak

Ac 5:20 Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.
In Acts chapter five, the apostles are thrown into prison. The angel of the Lord comes and opens the doors and tells them to “Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.”
As saved born-again believers, we have been given the commandment to preach the Gospel to a lost world. Jesus said in Matthew 28 to “go ye into all the world and preach the gospel.”
The apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 5 says that we have been given the ministry of reconciliation as ambassadors for Christ. Not only do we need to go, but also we need to stand. In Ephesians 6:14, the Bible says, “Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;”
If there was ever a time for godly men to make a stand for truth and righteousness, it is now. Too many men are not willing to stand for what is right and defend truth. We must stand firm on the truths of God’s Word.
Not only do we need to be actively going into all of the world and standing firm for truth and righteousness, but also we must speak the truth in love.
Eph 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
The truths of God’s Word must be declared not in arrogance or in pride but in love, understanding that some have not the knowledge of the truth. People are being tossed to and fro in a dark world, and it is time for the bride of Christ to obey the command of Scripture and to go preach the gospel to a lost world.
Stand for truth and righteousness and speak the truth in love.
Consider – If you really want to do something, you’ll find a way. If you don’t, you’ll find an excuse.
