Isa 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

Isaiah surrendered to the Lord’s call.  This is an absolute essential in order to serve the Lord.  Every Christian needs to surrender to God’s will. Notice, Isaiah surrendered without reservation, and he did not make any demands.  He did not say, “I will do this or that or I will go to a certain place if you lead me there.”

He left all of that up to God.  He simply offered himself to do the will of God.

Recently, we had three young ladies who were sisters come to visit the Home in Costa Rica.  They were seeking the Lord’s will for their lives and willing to go wherever God leads them to go and to do whatever God leads them to do.

It is very refreshing to see young people with this attitude and dedication.  They were a big help and a blessing to the Lighthouse staff and children while they were with us.

What about you?  Have you ever surrendered yourself to God?  Have you ever said to the Lord, “Here am I Lord, send me?”  I encourage you to do that today, and then be busy serving the Lord where you are. God uses busy people.

Consider – Drill the well before you become thirsty.
