Mt 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

When we receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, there is a natural desire to want to share the "Good News" with others. It is hard not to talk about Christ and what He has done for us. We want to sing out loud to everyone that great old hymn, “Hallelujah what a Saviour.”

Soon we realize that not everyone wants to hear the song and not everyone is as excited about our salvation as we are.

Do not let this discourage you from obeying the command of the Lord or the desire of your heart to share the “Gospel” with others. God gives us clear instructions to be a Sower of the Seed, and a Lighthouse for Him, and to let our light shine that others might see.

Every Christian is to bear fruit for Him. Joh 15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

Let us be determined to be a bearer of the “Good News,” realizing that time is short. The best way to serve another person is to share the Good News so that they might have eternal life.

Consider – A lie has speed, but the truth has endurance.
