1Jo 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Recently I read about a moth emerging from its cocoon, where it hung from a tree like an ugly brown bag. A great miracle takes place when the moth is changed by our God into a multi-colored, beautiful butterfly. Who would think that such a beauty could come from a drab brownish-colored cocoon?

A greater miracle awaits the child of God! Now we are encased in these decaying bodies with all its aches, pains, and limitations. We look forward to that day when we shall be changed.

1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Take heart, dear Christian friends that are suffering with a decaying body and various ailments, for we will soon BE CHANGED!!! Maybe even today!!!

Consider – The resurrection and the change of the body are both an absolute surety. Note the strong affirmative “shalls” in 1 Cor 15:52.
