God Has No Plan B

Eph 3:11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
2Ti 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

The purpose and grace of God was settled in Jesus prior to Creation. So, when man fell, God did not have to come up with Plan B. The sin of man did not take God by surprise. We may say, “God had a backup plan.” In truth, our All-knowing God, Who knows the end from the beginning, had it all figured out ahead of the occurrence. Man’s redemption was included in God’s Plan A from the beginning.

God announced His plan of redemption to Adam and Eve. The special lineage that would produce the seed of the woman appeared in every generation. The history of the OT is the testimony of God’s plan. We see it in Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—and their generations. God moved kings, peoples, and nations to salvage to Himself a redeemed people.

Plan B is what you do when your initial plans didn’t work out. Scripture tells us God’s plan was initiated in Eternity, prior to the foundations of the earth. Paul told Timothy that our salvation “in Christ Jesus” was given to us “before the world began.”

Everything in the Bible is an account of how God moved in fulfilling His plan. In current events we see the Lord’s Hand moving all the pieces in place to accomplish His agenda.

This is true of every thing related to Creation. God’s plan for earth will be accomplished. It will be destroyed and renewed (2 Pe 3:10-12; Rev 20:6, 7). Prior to that, there will be a glorious thousand year period, in which God will restore that which was lost in Eden. It will be a blessed and restful Sabbath for mankind.

In the course of human events, God’s plan to atone for man’s sin was executed. The Seed of the woman finally arrived. Jesus wonderfully paid the price for our sins. Not just some of them. ALL of them. The Atonement is complete.

Ga 1:4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

Consider – Understand...Trust… Know God’s Plan A. It includes you.

Smiley –  I’m reading a book about anti-gravity. It’s impossible to put down.
