CAN SATAN GIVE GOOD GIFTS

Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
The answer to that question is: YES. But Satan is a deceiver and a liar. He has ulterior motives in mind when he presents a gift. He is not there to help you, but to hurt you. Satan will offer you what appears to be “good” things that will replace the “perfect” gifts that God wants to give you.
Satan’s goal is to get us to come to him and to lead us away from God. He will offer us money, power, position, friends, and popularity.
That is why it is always wise to seek God before entering into business deals, entering into friendships or relationships and before accepting gifts. Satan provided a “free” gift of a fruit to Eve, but it came at a high price.
From the cradle to the grave there will be a constant struggle against the corruptible lusts of the flesh and the imposing temptations offered by the world and Satan.
The Bible tells us that every perfect gift comes from God the Father. It will not only be what you will enjoy, but it will also be what is best for you.
• Jas 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
God is "the Father of lights." He is our Father; He never leaves us in the dark, groping and grasping to know the truth. He always opens up the light of the truth to us. He gives us every good and perfect gift because He is the Father of lights.
