Jesus Saves Sinners

1 Timothy 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
Some Christians become discouraged and deeply distressed when they focus on the depth of sins in their past and the sin in their heart. When that type of thinking continues, Satan whispers to them, “Look at you – you haven’t been saved at all!!! You are every bit as great a sinner as before.”
Although these believers desire peace and purity, they only see their shortcomings. It is at this time that the child of God must be reassured that Jesus is their Saviour and the Saviour to all who will come to Him in repentance and faith.
If you are prone to look at your sinfulness, you will live a life of constant turmoil. Affirm your faith in Christ, and thank Him that He is the Saviour to all sinners that will trust Him.
Reflection—There are none so good that they can save themselves – none so bad that God cannot save them.
