Lighthouse Children’s Homes – Myanmar
In January 2024, The Lighthouse began partnering with the Ben Bernard family in Myanmar. Brother Bernard and his wife, Sarah, have served as missionaries in Myanmar since 2019 and have planted New Horizon Baptist Church.
In March of 2023, they moved an existing children’s home from Northern Myanmar to a place close to the church. Ben and Sarah began supporting those five children with funds from their personal support. They started looking for property to construct a large building to reach more children.
In June 2024, the foundation was laid and the construction of a three story building began. Soon they will have room to reach more children for Christ.
Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.
