1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
Last night Paula and I went to a wonderful Easter Drama at the Faith Baptist Church in LaGrange, GA. Everything this church does, they do it first class. The sets, scenes, singing, mechanical apparatus, dialogue, lighting, sound effects; everything was professional down to the parking lot attendants and the ushers who helped you to your seat. Paula and I sat in the front row so we could get some good photos. We were on the edge of our seats during the two-hour performance.
The drama dealt with the life of Christ from the age of twelve through His death, burial, and resurrection. The reoccurring theme was the Blood of Christ. There was an emphasis that His sinless Blood was shed as the only way to have the forgiveness of our sins in the sight of God. It was also made very clear that His Blood was shed for every person who ever lived – everyone was included. At the close of the Drama an invitation was given and twelve people received Christ as Savior. Praise the Lord!!!
This Easter season would be a good time for all of us to do two things: First, spend some time in prayer thanking the Lord for His sacrificial Blood that made it possible for us to be a child of God. Second, determine to share the “Good News” with someone who is not a Christian. You can be confident that Jesus shed His Blood for that person, and they are included in the plan of salvation.
Reflection—Every day is Resurrection Day for the born-again believer in the Lord Jesus!
