Child Investment Plan

“And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.” Mark 10:16

Investing in the life of a child is something near to the heart of the Lord. Whether it is by prayer, time, or simply giving, we become the arms and hands of Jesus to bless the child. The Lighthouse Investment Plan allows you to personally participate in rescuing storm-tossed children. Such an investment will reap eternal benefits.

This plan provides an avenue whereby an individual, a Sunday School class, or a Church may sponsor a particular child for $35.00 per month. The child will write a personal letter to you every month to help you develop a personal relationship.

Please pray over these children as you read about their lives. If the Lord leads you to a particular child, let us know how we may be of assistance to you. Thank you so much for your love for the children.

May the Lord Jesus bless you as you invest in God’s Heritage.

Jackeline Dayana Arias - April 28,2015

Since coming to the Home in 2024 Jackeline has learned that she is wanted and loved. Unlike what she experienced as an abandoned child and bouncing around from one children’s home to another. Jackeline is thriving at the Lighthouse and has adjusted well to stability and love. She is now learning to read and with opportunity seems very capable of doing good schoolwork. Though she is tiny in size she has a big smile. Please pray for her to be saved soon.

Lilliam Krystal Soza Minas - March 15, 2012

Lilliam (Lilly) came to the Home in 2021. She was born to Nicaraguan parents and had been removed many times from her parents due to neglect. She never belonged anywhere, and it seemed she would never find a place where she was loved and wanted. God provided such a place for Lilly at the Lighthouse. Now she is being loved and learning that she is wanted. She has accepted Christ and is learning who she is in Christ. Please pray for her spiritual growth.

Mahama Isaac Perez - June 24, 2011

Isaac was taken from his mother when he was about five years old along with his siblings. They were all placed in different places and Isaac was sent to a children’s home. That home had an age limit, and Isaac had reached the age where he could no longer stay. Thankfully Isaac found a permanent home at the Lighthouse. He is a delightful child and is doing very well in school and church. He has accepted Christ as his Savior and been baptized. Please pray for his continued spiritual growth and future.

Angel Ismael Aranda Diaz - September 7, 2016

Ismael’s mother brought him to live at the Home in December of 2016 as she could not care for him. He adjusted quickly and became a delightful and lovable child. He is smart and does well in school. He enjoys playing outside with his other brothers. Ismael has accepted Christ as his personal Savior and followed the Lord in baptism. Please pray that he will grow up to be a godly man of God.

Jonathan Munoz Salinas - June 8, 2021

Jonathan was born into a difficult life as both of his parents were drug addicts. Physical abuse and neglect were common for him and his sister, who were both toddlers when they arrived at the Lighthouse. Jonathan has slowly learned to trust adults as he has daily received love and consistent care in the Home. Please pray for his emotional healing and that his heart will be tender to the Lord.

Berenice Robles Munoz - July 1, 2019

Berenice was born to drug addict parents and suffered physical abuse and neglect in the first three years of her life. Thankfully she found a safe place at the Lighthouse and has adjusted well to a loving home environment. She likes to get dressed up and enjoys playing with baby dolls. Berenice likes to be a helper by doing “big girl” chores. Please pray for her salvation and healing from her childhood abuse.

Josue Israel Gutierrez Ortiz - August 6, 2015

Josue came to the Home when he was five years old. His parents had separated, and his mother could not properly care for him and work to meet his needs. Through her desire to keep him safe, cared for, and to learn about God, she placed him in the home. Josue has adjusted well and likes to play outside with his other brothers. God has a planned future for this young man. Please pray he will follow and become a mighty man soldier of the cross.

Ruth Abigail Guerrero Ibarra - June 29, 2013

Ruth Abigail (Abi) came to the Home at the age of three from a situation of great neglect. Abi flourished under the godly love and care of the staff. Abigail loves learning new things and does very well in school. At an early age, while learning Spanish, she could also do her schoolwork in English. She has been saved and is growing in her spiritual walk. Pray with us as we look forward to what God has planned for her life.
