Ecclesiastes 6:12 For who knoweth what is good for man in this life, all the days of his vain life which he spendeth as a shadow? for who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?
The older I get, the faster life seems to pass by. Solomon helps us to think about how brief our time on earth is and to consider how we use it.
The Bible provides answers for man’s greatest questions. Scripture clearly gives God’s will for our lives and guidance through life’s most difficult trials. God desires for everyone to receive His Son as Saviour and to avoid the torment and perishing that hell brings.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Once we are born again, we then begin laying up eternal treasure by serving the Saviour.
1 John 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Daily focusing our hearts in gratefulness and thankfulness allows the Lord to do His will in our lives.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
By yielding our lives in salvation, service, and thanksgiving, we can make each day profitable. May we live to make each day count for Christ by prioritizing our relationship with Him.
Philippians 3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
