Winter has ended and spring is here. With its ending, the sign of new life and growth begins. On the farm, things pick up pace. The rest from the cozy cold days has ended, and the time to get busy working starts.
As Christians, the Bible reminds us in 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
Colossians gives us instructions on what to bury as dead and what to allow to grow.
Colossians 3:5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
Colossians 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
May we seek to be fruitful Christians filled with the Holy Spirit for His honor and glory.
