Thank you for your Faithfulness

In 2024 the Sanders retired after many years of service. They were honored with a special time of remembrance on Thanksgiving Day.  Several generations of children attended and testified how the Sanders had impacted their lives.  On behalf of all the children that have come through the children’s home, thank you for your faithfulness, and may God bless you.

Brother Larry Neff partnered with Sally and Patricia, two single ladies,  in 1992 and the Lighthouse Children's Home in Costa Rica was established. Sally and Patricia had a calling to help abandoned children and took in the first three siblings in 1989.  God kept sending them children, but they were struggling financially.  After meeting with Brother Neff and praying, it was decided to become affiliated with the Lighthouse.  Brother Neff would raise the necessary support and Sally and Patricia would raise the children.  Over the years many children have gone through the Home.  We are thankful to the Lord for His many blessings.  We are grateful for the individuals and churches that have faithfully supported this ministry.

The Sanders retired in 2024 and Patricia Neff Dillman (adopted daughter of the Neffs) continues in the position of financial manager which she has held since the Home was established. Patricia now oversees the operations of the Home and fills in where ever there is a need. Her husband Danny is a big blessing and help, both to the children and the staff.

Rhandal and Jorgeana (Nana) Cabrarles now serve as dorm parents. Brother Rhandal has daily devotions with the children, and they are growing spiritually in the Lord.  The children are involved in weekly soul winning in their local church, sing in the choir, play their instruments in the church, and work in the bus ministry.

The children that the Lord sends to us often have been abused, neglected, or abandoned.  We strive to be a permanent solution to their troubled start in life.  The boys and girls are provided a safe environment where they can learn what true love is, the love that Christ showed on the Cross.
