Fully Satisfied

Psalm 91:14-16 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. 15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. 16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
We do love the Lord. It is not because we deserve it, but He first loved us. (1 John 4:19) This Psalm is a wonderful gift to the children of God. G. Campbell Morgan said, “This psalm is one of the greatest possessions of the saints.”
What satisfaction there is in knowing that we are delivered from darkness and brought forth into the light of a lasting friendship. Our relationship with the Lord is rooted and grounded in love, and it is solidly built upon the rock of God’s faithfulness. He is so faithful to deliver us!
1 Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
We are also exalted, “set on high,” seated in heavenly places. What a privilege it is to know His Name, Jesus the Lord, Jesus the Christ. Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
We call upon Him, and He answers us. We have unrestricted access into the very Throne Room of Heaven. He is with us in the midst of our troubles. As we seek to honor Him, it is humbling and amazing that He honors us.
Throughout all the days of our lives, the Lord Himself will satisfy us. His salvation is a bottomless well of satisfaction. Just when we have been blessed with a new and exciting understanding of our relationship with Him, He shows us more. There is always more!
Reflection—There is absolutely no reason NOT to be fully satisfied with Jesus!
