For Women by Women

Acts 20:24 … neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
The Wanna Bee can be heard saying some of the following, “I wanna be more loving. I wanna serve the Lord in a greater way. I wanna hand out more tracks. I wanna study my Bible more.”
A Wanna Bee is a busy, doing bee – active for the Lord. He’s a soldier bee trekking along the road of life for his Lord. For the most part, he is identified by his markings of living a righteous life, attending church faithfully, and is actively serving in the local church. It is open to opportunities, even if he feels inadequate for the task.
He wakes every morning with a course or direction for the day and endeavors to stay on track, no matter what may come in the way. When this bee encounters a bump, he may be temporarily side-lined, but is soon back on course.
The Wanna Bee recognizes that life is just a vapor and soon will vanish away. James 4:14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
The cares and opportunities of this present world are likened unto that same vapor. That time is short, days are numbered, and the opportunities of today may not be there tomorrow.
This bee has a steady flight pattern for its stability is based upon its relationship with the LORD—not what is going on around him. The Wanna Bee is focused and farsighted as it is pressing forward and looking for the day when he receives his glorified body.
Reflection—Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
